Edgar M. Duncan

Mr. Duncan is also licensed to practice law in the State of Alaska. He graduated from Washington and Lee University and earned his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. His practice includes estate planning, probate, corporate law, and business tax planning. He is a frequent speaker on estate planning and probate and is a published author in the State Bar Continuing Education Program.

Stephen A. Bressler

Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law as well as Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Bressler received his undergraduate degree from Texas A & M University and his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law where he was a member of the John M. Harlan Society and the Law Review. Prior to entering private practice, he was a Captain in the U. S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Mr. Bressler’s practice concentrates on assisting businesses and individuals with their planning needs, including business sales, acquisitions, and formations, estate planning and probate, and real estate sales, acquisitions, and financing. He has been a speaker and author on estate planning and probate issues for the State Bar of Texas Continuing Legal Education Program. Outside of the office, Mr. Bressler enjoys ranching, biking, hiking, skiing, travelling, and being with his two sons, two daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren.

Matthew K. Williamson

Joseph L. Koehl

Mr. Koehl is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law and in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He received his B.A. in English from the University of Texas at Austin, his J.D. from Baylor Law School, and studied at Tulane’s Paris Institute of European Legal Studies in Paris, France. Mr. Koehl guides families through the estate planning process and prepares wills and trusts of all varieties. He strives to achieve his clients’ planning objectives while respecting each client’s beliefs and values and reflecting them in his work product. Mr. Koehl has probated wills in numerous counties and has handled complex taxable estates. An experienced title attorney, Mr. Koehl also represents landowners in farm and ranch acquisitions and oil, gas, wind and solar negotiations, leases and agreements. In his free time, Mr. Koehl enjoys literary fiction, yoga, attending art events, drawing, and supporting turtle conservation efforts. He is a board member of the San Antonio Public Library Foundation. An avid musician, Mr. Koehl has played electric guitar in more than ten bands.

Maira L. Gonzalez

Ms. Gonzalez practices in the area of probate, estate planning and guardianships. Ms. Gonzalez received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University and earned her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. Ms. Gonzalez served as the Executive Managing Editor of Volume 19 of the Texas Tech Administrative Law Journal. The comment Ms. Gonzalez wrote as a staff writer was published in Volume 18, Book 2 of the Texas Tech Administrative Law Journal. In the summer of 2016, Ms. Gonzalez interned at the Thirteenth Court of Appeals for Justice Dori Contreras. Ms. Gonzalez also clerked at the Lubbock County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, Civil Division. Mrs. Gonzalez is a native Spanish speaker. In her spare time, Ms. Gonzalez enjoys nonfiction novels, exploring park trails, and outdoor running. Most importantly, Maira values spending quality time with her husband, Homero, and their dog.

Megan M. Green

Ms. Green practices in the area of probate and estate planning, as well as corporate law and business planning. She received her degree from The University of Texas at Austin and earned her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude. While in law school Ms. Green served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Kevin Yeary at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, as a student attorney in the St. Mary’s Civil Justice Clinic, and as a staff writer on the St. Mary’s Law Journal. The comment she wrote as a staff writer was published in Volume 50 of the Law Journal. Ms. Green is also a member of the John M. Harlan Society. In her free time she enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time outside with her dog.

Cooper Lewis

Mr. Lewis received his undergraduate degree in history from Texas A&M University and earned his law degree from the Texas A&M University School of Law. During his time in law school, Mr. Lewis was actively involved in the Probate & Estate Planning Clinic. He is also a member of the Texas Aggie Bar Association and the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association. Outside of the office, Mr. Lewis enjoys golfing, fly fishing, reading and spending time with his friends and family.
